Luxury & ultra-luxury cruises
Luxury cruises, matched to how you actually like to travel
Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Seabourn, Explora Journeys and more — compared honestly and planned end to end by Cruise Planners® travel advisor Kirk Kanter.
The right line matters more than the brochure
Luxury lines differ in ways the websites don’t make obvious: what “all-inclusive” really covers, suite sizes, dress code, dining style, the size of the ship and the ports it can reach.
We walk you through the trade-offs in plain terms, then build the trip around the sailing — pre- and post-cruise hotels, private transfers and the details that make it feel seamless.
Lines we plan

- Silversea
- Seabourn
- Explora Journeys
- Oceania Cruises, Viking Ocean and Windstar

Luxury cruise questions
Is an ultra-luxury cruise really all-inclusive?
It varies by line. Some include shore excursions, gratuities and specialty dining; others don’t. We lay out exactly what each fare includes so you’re comparing true totals.
Does booking through an advisor cost more?
No. You pay the cruise line’s fare, and we often add Cruise Planners amenities on top. Consultations are complimentary.
Which luxury line is best for a first luxury cruise?
It depends on your style — relaxed or formal, big-ship amenities or small-ship ports. A 20-minute call is usually enough for us to narrow it to two good fits.
